Temporary Dispatcher

Location: Corona, CA
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Job Type: Temporary
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Temporary Dispatcher to coordinate truck deliveries, manage transportation logistics, and serve as the primary communication link between plants, drivers, and job sites. This role is essential to ensuring materials are delivered safely, efficiently, and on schedule while maintaining effective fleet utilization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule and coordinate truck deliveries to various job sites.
  • Monitor delivery schedules and ensure timely material transportation.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and field personnel.
  • Track fleet utilization and make scheduling adjustments as needed.
  • Resolve delivery, routing, and scheduling issues through effective problem-solving.
  • Maintain accurate records using dispatch and logistics software.
  • Serve as the central communication hub for transportation and field operations.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in dispatching, logistics, transportation, or the construction industry preferred.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn specialized logistics software.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
